There is a long history of succesful collaborations among
the partners of the FERMI consortium, carried out through
common projects and research activities. Examples of
bilateral collaborations are:
- a collaboration between GU-CS and UNIDO-CS funded by the
British Council;
- the Aliance project between GU-CS and LGI-IMAG
funded by CNRS and the British Council;
- a personnel exchange from CNR-IEI to GU-CS funded by
NATO.
In addition, CNR-IEI, GU-CS and LGI-IMAG are members of the
MIRO Working Group (n. 6576) and the whole FERMI consortium
is involved in the IDOMENUES Network of Excellence.
The solid links already existing between the members of the
FERMI consortium will require only a small additional structure
in order to make the cooperation within the project work.
This structure will consist of:
- a project leader, responsible for
handling all communications with the Community,
coordinating the activities among the work parts,
ensuring that all project deliverables are available on time,
organising and chairing all meetings related to the project;
- a work part leader for each work part, responsible
for coordinating the research activities within the work part,
organising technical meetings between the members of the work
part, reporting progress and problems concerning his work part
to the project leader;
- a site leader for each site, responsible for the
communication to and from the site.
